What we process and why
We process the data you give us voluntarily through the early access form or by writing to us. Specifically:

We do not profile you or take automated decisions about you. We do not send third-party advertising and we do not pass your email to anyone else. And we use no analytics or advertising cookies on this site: nothing here tracks your browsing.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies. None of our own and none from third parties: no analytics, no advertising, no social media. There is no visit counter and no tracking pixel. That is why you won't see a cookie banner asking for permission: there is nothing to consent to.
The only thing that leaves this server is the typefaces, currently downloaded from Google Fonts. That installs no cookies on your device, but it does mean your IP address reaches a Google server so the fonts can be served. We are moving the typefaces to our own server so that stops happening.
If we ever add a measurement tool, it will appear here and you will see a banner asking for permission before anything is installed.
How long we keep it
- Early access list: until kosmo launches and, at most, twenty-four months from when you wrote to us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Enquiries that lead nowhere: as long as needed to answer them and, after that, a maximum of twelve months.
- Contractual relationships: for the duration of the relationship and thereafter for the applicable statutory limitation periods under civil, commercial and tax law.
Who we share it with
We do not share your data with third parties except where legally required. The following service providers may access it as data processors, under the contracts required by article 28 of the GDPR:
- Web hosting and form handling: Netlify, Inc.
- Email provider
- Tax and accounting advisers, in relation to invoicing
Netlify, Inc. is a United States entity. The resulting international transfer of data relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, incorporated into the data processing agreement signed with that provider.
Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time by writing to kosmo-app@outlook.com, saying which one you are exercising. We will only ask for proof of identity if there is reasonable doubt:
- Access: find out what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed.
- Objection: object to certain processing.
- Restriction: ask us to suspend processing in the cases provided for.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted transmission over HTTPS across the whole site.
Minors
This site is aimed at hospitality professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under fourteen.
